About 6 centuries later ( when Bulgaria on the Balkan peninsula had already been formed) that same region would be part of the Mongol empire and you can really hear that common heritage in the voices. It was a land of nomads, famous for their ability to ride horses and shoot bows. Our ancestors come from the region between the Black and Azov seas the so-called Old Great Bulgaria. My home country of Bulgaria has such a rich past. You’ve sampled some very unusual voices over the years.
